A Man. A Movement.
In Jesus Christ Superstar, a revolutionary leader is elevated, scrutinized, and ultimately punished when his existence threatens systems of power. As Jesus rises as a leader in Jerusalem, friends, followers, and forces of power project their fears, hopes, and agendas onto his image, masking his humanity. Told through electrifying rock music, Sankofa brings this tried and true story to life by exploring who gets to remain human when the world demands a savior. Starring Nnandi Nwanwo as Jesus, Juan Sebastian Cruz as Judas, Raven Justine Troupe as Mary and featuring Christina Wells as King Herod.

Frankenstein
10/30/26 - 11/2/26 at the Pearl Theater
Founding Artistic Director Alric Davis stars as Victor Frankenstein alongside acclaimed actor Steve Scott as the Creature in Tim Kelly’s adaptation of Frankenstein. Driven by ambition and a desire to conquer death, Victor Frankenstein creates life — and immediately rejects the being he has brought into the world. Shunned by his creator and feared by society, the Creature is forced into isolation, learning humanity only through observation while being denied it at every turn. Frankenstein challenges audiences to reconsider who the real monster is: the one who is feared, or the world that refuses to see his humanity.
