Set in 1901 on the day of the annual Blue Vein Ball, this play follows Alfred Benoit Ryder, a formerly enslaved man whose carefully built life is challenged when a woman from his past arrives looking for the husband she once knew. Written and produced by Rashanique the Writer of Brown House Productions LLC, with Rod and Qiana Taylor of Taylor Theatre Company as executive producers.
