And Then There Were None
Cone Man Running Productions
June 5 – June 20, 2026
Cone Man Running Productions presents And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, one of the most famous and unsettling mysteries ever written.
Ten strangers. One isolated island. No escape.
As secrets surface and tensions rise, the guests realize they are being judged for past actions—and that justice is being delivered one by one.
In this distinctive Houston production, every role is performed by members of the legal community, bringing added depth and perspective to Agatha Christie’s gripping exploration of justice, ethics, accountability, and the consequences of taking the law into one’s own hands.
⚖️ Justice Outside the Law
And Then There Were None remains one of the most enduring examinations of justice, accountability, and moral responsibility ever written.
As the isolated guests confront accusations tied to past actions that escaped formal legal consequence, the play raises difficult questions that continue to resonate with legal professionals today:
What happens when individuals lose faith in legal systems?
Can morality exist independently of due process?
Is punishment ever justified outside the rule of law?
Who decides guilt when no court exists?
Performed by members of Houston’s legal community, this production invites audiences to engage not only with Christie’s suspenseful mystery, but with the ethical and philosophical tensions surrounding vigilante justice, accountability, and the limits of institutional power.

As a young artist in the 1990s, actress Anna Campbell sparked a theatrical firestorm with a staging of August Wilson monologues spoken from a female perspective performed entirely in the nude. Decades later, her provocative performance that changed the trajectory of her career, rises like a ghost, when it is to be included at a woman’s theater festival. But there’s a catch. A much younger and inexperienced actress whose credits are less than desirable has been asked to perform, causing Anna to spiral in a whirlwind of insecurity and hesitancy. With support from her manager and long-time friend Betty, Anna grapples with the choice to step aside on a road she helped to pave so that a new generation can continue the journey.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Houston Broadway Theatre
June 16 – July 24, 2026
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a sweeping and powerful musical from Disney's legendary composer Alan Menken (Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) and lyricist Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell). It's fifteenth-century Paris, and Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer of Notre Dame, has spent his entire life hidden away in the cathedral's towers. Held captive by his cruel guardian, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, Quasimodo dreams of life "Out There" among the people below. When he finally escapes to join the Feast of Fools, he's shown kindness by only one person: Esmeralda, a beautiful and free-spirited Romani woman. But Quasimodo isn't the only one captivated by her– the dashing Captain Phoebus and the sinister Frollo are equally enthralled. As all three men vie for her heart, Frollo launches a deadly campaign against the Romani people, and it's up to Quasimodo to find the courage to save them all.
Based on Victor Hugo's gothic masterpiece and featuring the film's Academy Award-nominated score plus new songs, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a breathtaking tale of love, acceptance, redemption, and hope even in the darkest of times.
This production will feature a full 21-piece live orchestra made up of Houston’s most accomplished professional musicians. The orchestra will be featured onstage as a visible, integral part of the production and will perform an expanded orchestration of Alan Menken’s celebrated score. This marks the first time this expanded orchestration will be performed in the United States, making it a singular event for Houston audiences.
