Cole Escola’s dark comedy reimagines Mary Todd Lincoln as a frustrated and deeply unhappy woman in the weeks before Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. The intentionally outrageous historical comedy explores her ambitions, desires, and chaotic personal life through an absurd and irreverent lens.
