Accidental Death of an Anarchist
Rec Room Arts

Dec 10 – Jan 2, 2027

Christmas time at the station.. A blistering farce for an era of conspiracy theories, institutional distrust, and rebellion.

After a suspicious death threatens to expose a web of corruption, an unpredictable outsider known only as the Maniac infiltrates the investigation. As identities shift and reality begins to unravel, everyone scrambles to control the narrative before the truth slips through their fingers.

Rec Room reimagines Dario Fo's classic as a contemporary American satire infused with detective noir, Cold War paranoia, and razor sharp absurdity. Set against the glow of fluorescent lights and holiday decorations, this fearless new adaptation asks what happens when institutions stop protecting the truth and begin manufacturing it.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
A.D. Players at The George Theater

Nov 25 – Dec 23, 2026

Chaos, comedy, and Christmas collide in this wildly entertaining holiday favorite by Barbara Robinson. In The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, the annual church pageant is thrown into delightful disarray when the Herdman kids—the worst children in the history of the world—decide they want to be in the show. Known for lying, stealing, and terrorizing the neighborhood, the Herdmans have never even heard the Christmas story. But when they’re unexpectedly cast as Mary, Joseph, the Wise Men, and the Angel of the Lord, they bring their own bold, unfiltered perspective to the nativity. Under the increasingly frazzled direction of a well-meaning mother trying to keep things on track, rehearsals unravel into hilarious chaos—complete with cigar-smoking shepherds, improvised dialogue, and a complete disregard for tradition. Yet beneath the comedy lies something surprisingly heartfelt. As the Herdmans encounter the story of a baby born in a stable, their candid questions and raw reactions begin to strip away the polish of the familiar tale. What emerges is a fresh, deeply human look at the heart of Christmas—one that challenges an entire community to rediscover its meaning. Filled with laugh-out-loud moments and unexpected tenderness, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a joyful reminder that the message of Christmas can reach even the most unlikely hearts—and that sometimes, the pageant no one expects becomes the one no one can forget.

Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical
Stages

Nov 20 – Dec 27, 2026

Deck the halls, trailer park style. Set in the delightfully tacky town of Armadillo Acres, Florida, this holiday musical features a motley crew of feisty yet lovable townsfolk. With temperatures lowering and tinsel trees erected, the trailer park’s quirky inhabitants wrestle with family drama, romantic hijinks, and a sleigh-full of holiday chaos, made even more complicated by the sudden arrival of an unexpected visitor who threatens to upend the festivities. Adorned with outrageous humor, toe-tapping country-rock songs, and plenty of yuletide cheer, this fast-paced musical delivers big laughs and proves that underneath the tinsel and the southern twang lies a heartfelt reminder that even the most unconventional families can find love, forgiveness, and joy.
