Rules

Houston Stage Guide may offer free-entry ticket lotteries for select performances. No purchase is necessary to enter. Entering does not guarantee tickets.

Each ticket lottery is for one specific performance. The page for that performance will list the entry deadline, winner notification time, ticket quantity, and response deadline.

Limit one entry per person per performance. Multiple entries for the same performance will not increase your chances of winning and may result in disqualification. Entries that are incomplete, false, submitted with multiple email addresses, or appear to use bots, scripts, or other unfair methods may also be disqualified. Lucky Seat’s official rules use the same general idea by limiting entries, prohibiting automated methods, and disqualifying duplicate or incomplete entries.

Unless otherwise stated, entrants must be 18 years of age or older and legal residents of the United States. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Lucky Seat’s official rules use this same general eligibility structure.

Winners are selected at random from eligible entries received before the deadline listed on the performance page. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and the number of tickets available for that performance. Lucky Seat’s rules describe the same random drawing process and odds language.

Winners will be notified by email using the email address provided at entry. If a selected winner does not respond or claim the tickets by the stated deadline, Houston Stage Guide may select an alternate winner or release the tickets. Lucky Seat’s rules similarly state that winners are notified electronically and may lose the opportunity if they do not claim tickets in time.

Tickets are subject to availability and to the rules of the theatre, venue, or ticket provider. Previously purchased tickets are not eligible. Offers may not be combined with other discounts unless specifically stated.

Seats may be located anywhere in the theatre and may be partial, limited, or obstructed view. If more than one ticket is offered, seats may not always be together. Lucky Seat’s rules include the same seat-location and seating-together limitations.

Only the selected winner may claim or use the tickets unless otherwise stated. A valid photo ID may be required, and the name on the entry may need to match the name on the ID.

Once tickets are claimed or purchased, all sales are final unless the theatre or venue states otherwise. No refunds or exchanges.

Show dates, times, cast, venue policies, and health or safety requirements may change without notice. Ticket holders are responsible for following venue rules and checking the venue or theatre website for current information. Lucky Seat’s rules likewise note that ticket holders must follow venue and health or safety requirements.

Houston Stage Guide reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or end a ticket lottery if needed because of technical issues, fraud, ticket availability problems, or other circumstances beyond its control. Lucky Seat’s official rules include similar cancellation and modification language.

Houston Stage Guide is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or failed entries, or for technical issues involving the website, email, internet access, or third-party platforms.

 

Terms

By entering a Houston Stage Guide ticket lottery, you agree to these rules and terms.

Each ticket lottery is governed by the details listed on its individual page. If anything on a specific performance page conflicts with the general terms here, the performance page controls.

You must provide accurate information when entering. Houston Stage Guide may disqualify entries that are incomplete, duplicate, false, submitted using multiple email addresses, or appear to use bots, scripts, or other unfair methods. This follows the same general approach used in Lucky Seat’s terms, which require truthful information and prohibit attempts to hide identity or interfere with the site.

Houston Stage Guide may modify, suspend, or cancel a giveaway or ticket lottery at any time if needed due to error, fraud, technical issues, ticket availability, or other circumstances beyond its control. Lucky Seat’s terms use similar site-change and access-control language.

By entering, you agree that Houston Stage Guide may use your submitted information to administer the ticket lottery, contact winners, prevent duplicate entries, and communicate about the specific promotion. Lucky Seat’s privacy policy similarly states that entry information may be used to administer promotions, contact entrants, and fulfill the promotion.

 

Privacy Notice

When you enter a Houston Stage Guide ticket lottery, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number if requested, and any other details you provide in the entry form. Lucky Seat’s privacy policy describes collecting similar information from people who enter drawings.
