About the production

An enslaved Ethiopian princess and an Egyptian commander fall in love across enemy lines, forcing them to choose between personal devotion and loyalty to their homelands. Verdi’s grand opera returns in a new production directed by Kaneza Schaal, starring Ailyn Pérez. Sung in Italian with projected English translation. Approximately 3 hours, including one intermission.
